President Bill Spencer and Treasurer Phil Daniels present the cheque, see the garden and visit the Meridian home. The money will be used to buy more accessible garden furniture for the home. We were very impressed with the facilities and were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Meridian is a short breaks service and provides a safe and welcoming home for young people with autism. Equipped with everything the young people may need, like sensory rooms, low stimulus spaces and an outdoor play area, it is a wonderful opportunity for residents to make friends, have fun and experience new things. With space for up to five children each night, Meridian offers personalised care and plenty of opportunities for children to learn, socialise and play.
