Over the Rainbow(MND)

Romiley and Marple Club President Bill Spencer along with Treasurer Phil Daniels are pictured presenting £200 to Sue Thompson from Over The Rainbow along with Janet Martin and Jane Gordon both regular supporters of both the Club and our annual Santa Dash. At our recent Charter Anniversary celebration Janet won £100 on the stand up sit down bingo to which she nominated MND as her chosen charity. A draw was held for 'Charity of the Night' and MND won with a £50 donation being doubled to £100 making up the £200. Jane contributed 50 beautiful hand made Easter Eggs which sold at record speed during the evening with proceeds going to another regular Club charity - Reuben's Retreat. Sue and her brilliant team at Over The Rainbow have now donated over £76,500 to this most worthwhile cause.
