Romiley, Marple & District Lions supporting Junior Football

• Romiley, Marple & District Lions are supporting local Junior Football and have purchased the football kit for the Marple Athletic Junior Football Club under 8 Football Team.

 

 

Melvyn Jones Fellowship:

• Romiley, Marple and District Lions Club member Jack Farrell has been presented with a Melvyn Jones Fellowship Award. This is the highest honour that can be given to a Lions Club member and it was given in recognition of Lion Jack's many years of dedicated service. Jack was presented with his award by Lion President Phil Daniels at the Club's Charter Anniversary Dinner Dance 2009.
